Presentation of Letters of Credence – Kenya

Her Excellency Isatu Aminata Bundu on 9th June, 2021 presented credentials to His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta as the new High Commissioner of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Republic of Kenya. The ceremony took place at State House in Nairobi, Kenya. Madam Bundu was accompanied by the Minister Plenipotentiary and the Head of Chancery at the Sierra Leone High Commission in Kenya. High Commissioner Bundu highlighted the recent agreements between the Government of the Republic of Kenya and the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone in the establishment of Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC);Memoranda of Understanding on Defence Cooperation; the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics and Statistics Sierra Leone in the sharing of tablets within the South-South Cooperation to enable Sierra Leone undertake its Mid-Term Housing and Population Census, the willingness to establish wildlife sanctuary Sierra Leone and to train rangers which have gone a long way in cementing the existing cordial and bilateral relations of our two countries in various sectors of our economies.
