The Republic of Sierra Leone’s Ambassador-Designate to the Republicof Burundi, Her Excellency Isatu Aminata Bundu was on 1st February,2022 welcomed to State House in Bujumbura by a guard of honour onthe occasion of presentation of her Letters of Credence to H.E.Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi. Shewas accompanied by Mrs. Juliana S.H. Fallah, Head of Chanceryat the resident Mission in Kenya.In her presentation, Ambassador Bundu conveyed His ExcellencyPresident Julius Maada Bio’s fraternal greetings to His ExcellencyPresident Evariste Ndayishimiye expressing the immense privilege ofserving as Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to his country.H.E.
President Ndayishimiye commended H.E. President Bio for excellently chairing the African Union Committee often Heads of State and Government (C-10).The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the Letters of Credence denoting the appointment of Madam Bundu by His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio as the Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Republic of Burundi, with residence in Kenya.11
